Hanson Technologies to Present at LabAutomation2007

Carlisle, PA, January 27, 2007 — Hanson Technologies Inc., a developer of innovative food and water safety solutions, today announced that Dr. Maureen Dyer, Director of Sensor Development at Hanson, will be presenting at the Association for Lab Automation's LabAutomation2007 conference in Palm Springs, California. LabAutomation is the world's leading conference and exhibition on emerging technologies in laboratory automation. Dr. Dyer will be presenting on Multiplexed Detection of Pathogens and Allergens in Food at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, January 29th.

As part of her presentation, Dr. Dyer will be discussing innovations in biosensor technology as it relates to rapid testing of multiple samples simultaneously. Hanson Technologies is making strides in the detection of pathogens and allergens in a single sample run, for example, testing for E. coli at the same time as peanut agglutinin. Dr. Dyer will share findings to date and identify additional experiments that are underway.

"Hanson Technologies has a great story to tell regarding new innovations and ideas related to detection of contaminants in food and water," said Dyer. "We are excited to share our findings to date and be part of the interaction and exposure that is a hallmark of the LabAutomation conference."

LabAutomation2007 will be held from January 27-31 in the Palm Springs Convention Center in Palm Springs, California.
